How much does a lockout cost?
It depends on the lock and the door, so we ask a few questions and give you a price on the phone before we send anyone. That price includes the service call.
How do I avoid a locksmith scam in NYC?
Get the total price before anyone is dispatched, ask for the company’s name and license, and check that the technician’s ID matches when they arrive. A locksmith who won’t quote on the phone, or who raises the price at your door, is a warning sign.
Will you damage my door?
Most lockouts are opened without drilling. If a lock has to be drilled, we tell you why and what it will cost before we start.
Do you need proof that I live there?
Yes. Before opening a home or car we ask for ID with the address or other proof of residence or ownership. It protects you as much as it protects us.
